Melody Rose has almost two decades of experience working with a wide range of small to medium sized businesses in a multitude of capacities including; business consultant, marketing director, strategist and project manager. She revels in the opportunities to make the whole strategy of growing your business an easier-to-approach reality. With both agency and in-house marketing experience she understands the precarious balance it takes to run your business smoothly. Her talents are around developing comprehensive business plans that almost always step out of ‘just marketing’, being an ever solutions-based business woman, and building strong relationships with ambitious and talented creators and leaders. She has been a member of the Communications Committee with Community Warehouse since 2018, and recently teamed up with Project Lemonade to support their mission of providing new clothes to foster youth to help them feel empowered and confident to go back to school.
Tess originally got started in marketing through writing blog posts and landing pages for local brands to drive SEO results. What ultimately drew her in was the intersection of creativity and technicality when writing for the purpose of marketing and advertising. Since then, she has branched out into a variety of facets of marketing. She has assisted with project development and management for multiple brands, driving results for clients. She has also facilitated content strategies and provided administrative support. Additionally, she has experience with social media, branding and messaging, copywriting, editing and design. In her free time, Tess enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going for walks, watching and attending Trail Blazer games, and cooking.
Customer Advocate & Designer
Michelle is the newest addition to the Rose Concepts team! With her extroverted personality, she has become a natural customer advocate for our clients. From graphic design and copywriting, to curating social media content for clients, she assists with multiple different avenues of our business growth services. Having graduated from Portland State University with a double major in Social Sciences and a minor in Psychology, Michelle has been able to combine her academic interests in demographic analysis with her creative passions here at Rose Concepts. She got her first taste of marketing while dedicating several years to working with rescue animals in non-profit shelters and assisting with their social media management. In her free time, Michelle enjoys singing, spending quality time with her friends and cat, and finding new and exciting food spots around Portland.
Senior Copywriter, Brand Strategist
Peter founded a full service marketing agency in 1992 and ran it for 10 years; he has freelanced since. He has worked with Fortune 500 clients to small businesses, local to international, in many industries, from retail to B2B, lifestyle to financial, high tech to nonprofits. As a brand strategist, creative director, and copywriter he has produced successful work in broadcast, print, OOH, corporate presentations, demand generation, email, and SEO-driven online/mobile/social. As an entrepreneur he has developed many business plans, and helped raise money for startup companies. When he puts away those work hats, he loves exploring, hiking and skiing with partner Kassie, photographing, writing fiction and poetry, or playing guitar.
Denise has a BS degree is in Advertising / Journalism and has worked for two publishing companies designing layout. She added to her advertising skills by learning web design and has been designing WordPress websites for businesses and organizations for over 12 years.
Denise enjoys working as a team and believes that much of her success (and having great clients to work with), is because she is easy to communicate with and is timely and responsive to client needs.
Denise enjoys spending time family, friends, and her 2 dogs, listening to music, going to basketball games, and traveling.
